My Design Process
Analysis:
My design process begins by consulting with key stakeholders to analyze data and the learning audience to identify performance gaps. From this analysis, I devise effective learning solutions to bridge gaps and maximize business impact.
Design:
By collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts the desired performance outcomes are determined and learning objectives are identified. Using adult learning theories, I outline the content in a design document. This is where engaging and applicable learning solutions begin to take their form. Then I design a detailed storyboard of the learning experience through an iterative process.
Develop:
A custom learning solution is developed using the tools most appropriate for the modality of implementation. To ensure that the learning solution is high-quality and accessible to all learners iteration is vital. Alpha, beta, and gold versions of the learning solution are developed, reviewed, and revised.
Implement and Evaluate:
When the project has undergone extensive reviews, revision, and testing it is ready for implementation. Monitoring and evaluating learning outcomes and learner experience helps identify any areas of improvement that may need to be addressed by further la.
